Born in Valley, Colchester County, he was a son of the late Charles and Annie(Johnson) Langille. He was a meteorologist with the Department of Transportation and worked in Sept Isles, Que., before his retirement. He was a graduate of Pictou Academy and the Radio College of Canada. He was a member of St.James Presbyterian Church, Truro. He is survived by a sister Greta Langille, Pictou. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Isabel Ings. The remains are resting in Ettinger- Kennedy Funeral Home, Truro. Visiting 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Robie Street Cemetery, Truro.
