Born in Halifax County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Charlotte (Robinson) Blair. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Cedar Temple, No. 21, Pythian Sisters, Oxford. Surviving are sons, Blair (Bob), Oxford; Russell (Dot), Oxford; Charles "Ted" (Cathy), Stratford, Ont.; daughters, Grace (Joe) Re, Hamilton, Ont.; Carol (Brian) Graves, Mount Pleasant, Cumberland County; Susan (Brent) Angevine, Oxford and Karen (Tim) Long, Sackville, N.B.; brothers, Nelson, Halifax; Gordon, Oxford Junction; Jim, B.C.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; special nephew, John Reid, Hansford, Cumberland County; special cousin, Malcolm Ryan, Middleton. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert "Bob" Thompson and son, Terry; sisters, Jessie Reid and Lillian Blair. Visitation will be today, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Pythian Sisters Service, 7:30 p.m. this evening, funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, all in MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, 5075 Main Street, Oxford, with Rev.
