Born in Brule, Colchester County, he was a son of the late James Issac and Florence (Perrin) Langille. He served overseas during the Second World War with the Stormant Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, Truro. He was a former employee of Colchester Regional Hospital, where he had worked for 14 years. He was a well-known and respected salmon fisherman, hunter, trapper and houndsman. He is survived by his wife, the former Geraldine Lynds; three daughters, Judy Moffatt, Joan, Shauna, all of Truro; two sons, Harold, Halifax; Boyd, Truro; two sisters, Helen (Mrs. Frank Sandeson), Gladys (Mrs. Gordon Bartlett), both of Truro; stepbrother, John; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a stepsister, Katherine; two half-sisters, Jennie, Florence; five half-brothers, Archie, Stewart, Osborne, Harry, Fred.
