Obituary: August 21, 1989. New Glasgow - Edith Muriel HOYT, 83, Sunset Haven Rest Home, New Glasgow, formerly of Tatamagouche, died Monday in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Tatamagouche, she was the daughter of the late George and Susan (LANGILLE) LANGILLE. She was a resident of Tatamagouche before moving to Pictou County 30 years ago. She was a member of the Salvation Army. She is survived by three daughters, Marie (Mrs. Donald BAILEY), Newcastle Bridge, N.B.; Eva (Mrs. Elmer BAILEY), New Glasgow; Bernice CAMERON, Tatamagouche; a sister, Ethel WILSON, Tatamagouche; three brothers, Roy, Tatamagouche; Hector, Cecil, both of Truro; 26 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Harry ROSS; a daughter in infancy; a brother Raymond. The body is in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, visiting 7-9 p.m. today and where funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Capt. Garry HOPKINS officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
