River John - Fred LANGILLE, 76, of River John, died Sunday in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in Brule, he was the son of the late James and Lydia (PERRIN) LANGILLE. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, the former Emma SHANNON; six sons, John, Freddie, Ronald, David, and Bennie, all at home; Lloyd, Truro; five daughters, Mildred (Mrs. Elroy HEIGHTON), and Mrs. Doreen GRATTO, both of Woodstock, Ont.; Elizabeth HEIGHTON and Ann LANGILLE, both of Pictou; Connie BECK, Westville; a half-brother, Arthur, and two half-sisters, Helen SANDERSON and Gladys BARTLETT, all of Truro; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Peter and an infant son; four brothers, Osburne, Archie, Stewart and Harry; two sisters, Florence and Jennie; and a half-sister, Catherine. The body is in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in St. John's Anglican Church, River John, Rev. David GARRETT officiating. Burial will be in Cape John Cemetery.
