  • Obituary: MRS. LEWIS LANGILLE of Waugh's River died Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born at Malagash, Bessie was the younger daughter of the late Robert and Isabel (MacKAY) BAILLIE. She was a registered nurse, having trained at Regina General Hospital, Regina, Sask. She worked at her profession for many years, a loved and respected nurse. She is survived by daughter, Doris (Mrs. Lester MYERS), Pugwash; granddaughter, Ida Mae and two great-grandchildren and a sister, Jessie (Mrs. W.A. CRAIG), Naicam, Sask. She was predeceased by her husband Lewis LANGILLE and a brother, Melville BAILLIE. The remains rested at her home at Waugh's River until the time of the funeral on Thursday Feb. 10, at 2 p.m., at Sedgewick Memorial Presbyterian Church, Tatamagouche. The service was conducted by Rev. Gordon MATHESON. Organist Kenneth BECK accompanied the choir who beautifully rendered the hymns "Precious Memories" and "Jesus Saviour Pilot Me." Pallbearers were Charles LANGILLE, Almon LANGILLE, Douglas LANGILLE, Sherman LANGILLE (nephews), Donald KEELER and Roger LANGILLE. Nurses and staff of Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital sat in a body and acted as flower bearers. Burial was in Lockerby Cemetery, Tatamagouche.
