Born in Birr, County Offaly, Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Elizabeth (DORAN) O'MEARA. She was a registered nurse and trained in London, England, and worked in England and across Canada. She enjoyed being aware of the events of her community. Surviving are son, Patrick and wife Inez, Guelph, Ont.; grandchildren, Morgan, Siobhan, Chantelle, Kane, all of Guelph. Patrick's father, Boyd LANGILLE, Tatamagouche; brothers, Mick, South Hampton, England; Patrick, Dublin, Ireland; sister, Peggy, Birr, Ireland; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. Catholic Funeral mass will be 2 p.m. Monday in Trinity Anglican Church, Middleton, Colchester Co., Rev. Vernon DRISCOLL officiating. Burial at a later date in Lockerby Memorial Cemetery, Tatamagouche. Flowers are welcome. Donations may be made to North Shore Health Services Foundation.
