  • Obituary: Jennie E. Langille (Woodworth) Age 77 of Wilmington, DE died peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, on Monday, October 17, 2005. Jennie came to the United States from Bedford, Nova Scotia with her husband, Clyde, and infant son, Terry, in 1947. They moved from Marcus Hook, PA to Wilmington, DE, where they built their family home with the help of Jennie's father. Jennie will be sweetly remembered for her love of family, her quick wit, her wonderful stories, songs and poems, her talent for vegetable and flower gardening, her handmade crafts and crocheted afghans, her love of camping and fishing trips with her family and dear companion, Frank, her expertise for winning at scrabble, and her passion for the daily crossword puzzle. Jennie also had a special place in her heart for all of her grandchildren. Jennie was preceded in death by her former husband, Clyde Langille; her mother, Mabel Halliday; father, James Woodworth; brothers, Hector and Billy Woodworth; her dear friend and companion of 17 years, Frank Mikolichick, of Aston, PA; and a host of great friends. She is survived by her children, Terry Langille and his wife, Cheryl, of Marietta, GA, Tim Langille and his wife, Debbie, of Chester, PA, Lovette Langille of Wilmington, DE, Darlene Langille of Lincoln, ME and Kevin Langille of Wilmington, DE; her beloved grandchildren, Kenny, Michelle, Timmy, Emily, Christopher and Lisa; 8 great grandchildren; her sisters, Beaulah and Betty; brothers, Ronnie and Lester, all of Nova Scotia, and brother, Aubrey, of Ontario, CN. After a private family visitation, a memorial service to celebrate her life will be announced by her family pending completion of arrangements.
