  • Obituary: LANGILLE, Pearl Lenore — Amherst, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Born July 2, 1930, in Weyburn, Sask., she was the tenth of 13 children born to the late Thomas and Bertha (Karr) Young. Pearl had worked as a teacher and secretary. She was predeceased by daughter, Cindy; brother, Alvin; sisters, Mary, Florence, Grace, Guyla, Clara, Ruth, Alice and Jean. Surviving are her former husband and friend, John Vernon Langille; sons, Jerry (Shelley), Gulf Shore; Robert (Charlene), Edmonton, Alta.; daughter, Sherri, London, Ont.; grandchildren, Stephanie (Robert), Vernon, Eric, Nichole, John (Jessica) and Candice; great-grandchildren , Isaiah, Savannah and Sierra; brother, Tom; sisters, Evelyn and Loretta; many nieces and nephews. While she will be missed by her family and friends it is a great comfort to know she has stayed the course and no longer faces the struggles of life, having gone on to be with her Lord and Savior. Visitation will be held this evening from 7-9 p.m. in Mundle's Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash (243-2506), where the funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Wallace River. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
