Langille Moran Hamilton passed away with her family by her side in Ponte Vedra, Florida on February 9, 2012. She was born in 1922 in Malagash, Nova Scotia to Melville McKay Langille and Mae Evelyn Brown. She was one of 9 children. She was an active woman who made family an important part of her life. Her three daughters and son-in-laws: Charlene and Jerry Blount of Mandarin, Fla., Shelley and James Hulihan of Ponte Vedra, Fla., and Maureen and Porter Sadler of Atlanta, GA appreciate her affectionate, generous and curious nature she brought to life and her family. She was a loving grandmother to Michelle Gilmour Kallestad, Maegan Kay Hulihan, Shamus Richard Hulihan, Porter Zachary Sadler, Valerie Blount, Jered Blount, Cheryl Blount, and Elizabeth Hamilton. Her dearest sister, Glenda Johnson, and husband, Jim, reside in Nova Scotia as well as their children, Donald, Alan and Kevin, who were all close to her heart. Margaret had an insatiable desire for travel, world cultures, current events and lifelong learning. Her generosity was reflected in her volunteer work and her concern for women's issues. Margaret's perfect day would include: reading the newspaper with her husband, 9 holes of golf or bridge group, taking a walk on the beach, and much lively discussion with family and friends. Her presence will be greatly missed; however, her spirit remains in all of us and provides comfort for those who loved her. The family would like to sincerely thank the McGraw Hospice of Jacksonville, Florida for the exceptional attention and care of Margaret. Donations can be made in her honor at the McGraw Center for Caring, c/a Community Hospice of Northeast Florida Foundation, 4266 Sunbeam Road Jacksonville, Fla. 32257.
