Born in Ta-tamagouche, on May 1, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Alvah and Rhoda (Patriquin) MacKinnon. Evelyn was a long-time member of St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church, Wallace, and a member of the At-lantic Missionary League. She was also a member of St. Andrew's Unit-ed Church, Fox Harbour, since 1957. In her later years, she enjoyed her trips to Florida for the winter months and the people that she en-countered there. She was a wonder-ful, loving mother, sister, aunt and a very good friend to all she had the pleasure of knowing. She is survived by her loving daughter, Cindy (Paul) Gatchell, Pugwash; sister, Martha Tattrie, Oromocto, N.B.; brothers, James (Irene) MacKinnon, Burkes Falls, Ont.; Curtis (Winnie) MacKinnon, Tatamagouche; daugh-ter- in-law, Terri Jamieson and her family, Edmonton, Alta.; special daughter and family, Tina (Richard) Wilson, Danielle and Olivia, Pug-wash; many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to nephew Art and Margaret Dalton for all the love and support shown to our family throughout the years. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Damien Langille (1953); daughter, Elizabeth Anne Langille (1993); sec-ond husband, Trueman Jamieson (2002); son, Jeffrey Jamieson (2006); sisters, Margaret (in in-fancy), Ella Hansford, Annie Dalton, Alice Weatherby, Lulu Kent, Mabel Henriksen; brother, Parker McKinnon.
