Born in Green Oaks, she was a daughter of the late William and Maude (Phillips) Geddes. She was a member of Middle Stewiacke United Church, former choir member and Sunday school teacher and former member of the Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Bible Society, WINS and EB Circle. She is survived by son, John (Cathy), Otter Brook; daughters, Sheila, Halifax; Barbara (Mrs. Michael Redden), Middle Stewiacke; Debra (Mrs. John Pollard), Truro; five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one step great grandchild; sister, Betty (Mrs. James D. MacKay), Lorne. She was predeceased by husband, Lee; granddaughter, Nancy Lynn Dickey; sister, Barbara (Mrs. Gordon Fleck); brother, Clinton and an infant brother. The body has been donated to science. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, October 1, at 2 pm in Middle Stewiacke United Church, Rev. Larry Harrison officiating.
