He is survived by his son Andrew Averill Axelson, mother Terrie Burch Tallabas and step-father Art Tallabas from Beaverton, OR. He was preceded in death by his loving Father Jack D. Axelson, and brother Jack B. Axelson who passed away two years ago to the day of Troy's death. His son Andrew was the light of his life, he was so very proud of him and loved watching him play football for Sprague HS, the same HS Troy graduated from in 1984. He joined the Marine's after HS and spent 4 years serving his country. Troy had a soft heart, great sense a humor, and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Services will be held at Keizer Funeral Chapel, April 8th, at 2:00 pm.
