  • Obituary: Many friends attended the last rites of the late Alfred McCully held at the residence Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. C. H. Phillips, pastor of the Congregational church, of which deceased was a member, conducted the funeral services. The Congregational choir rendered several hymns and Donald Wanner sang "Calvary. Many beautiful flowers were sent by individuals and set pieces were sent by the immediate neighbors, by the classes of 1909 and 1914, the Northern Pacific bridge foremen, the Jamestown civil engineering crew and others. The pall bearers were Alfonso Steinbach, Fred Challoner, Harry and Percy Wheeler, Howard Burgett and Walter Hall and Lynn Challoner of Bismarck. The latter three were classmates of Mr. McCully, the four being all of the boys of the class of '09. Several of the young women of the class also attended. Burial was at McGinnis cemetery where his sister Margaret was buried about sixteen years ago. The relatives present were Mr. and Mrs. William Jones of Clark City, N. D., and Mr. and Mrs. A. Angevine of Marion, Mrs. Jones and Mr. Angevine being brother and sister of Mrs. McCully. Jamestown Weekly Alert January 27,1916
