Griffin, 74, passed away Dec. 1, 2010, at Rockingham County Nursing Home in New Hampshire, after years with Alzheimer's. The daughter of John S. and Mildred E. Fitts, Natalie grew up with brothers, John Jr. and Stanley in Lynnfield, Mass. She and her beloved husband, Charlie, raised three children in Medfield, Mass., with music, love and laughter. The family left the suburbs for a small hobby farm in Lyndeborough, N.H., in the late 1970s. Natalie thoroughly enjoyed the farm, the land, the community and her animals. Many treasured memories live on with family and friends of making maple syrup, cross-country ski trips under a full moon, holidays and family reunions and the many walks to the waterfall. Natalie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles of Hodgdon; her three children, Sharon Griffin and Janet Demaine of Newmarket, N.H., Brian and Theresa Griffin of Hodgdon, and Wayne Griffin and Charles Zhang of Haikou City, China; six grandchildren, Stephen, Paul, Gregory, Melanie, Rebecca and Joseph Griffin of Hodgdon; her brother and sister-in-law, Stan and Joyce Fitts; and sister-in-law and childhood friend, Rusty Fitts.
