Born February 20, 1942 in Middle Stewiacke, he was a son of the late John and Eilleen (Fisher) Fisher. Carl met and married Alice Mildred Wilson on February 17, 1962. He is survived by his wife, Alice (Wilson) Fisher; children, Virginia Joy (Ginny) Hudson, Annapolis Valley; Steven John, Truro; Daniel Charles, at home, April Dawn Anderson, North River; sisters, Barb, Mary, Janet, Norma, Sheila, Shirley; brother, Norton. Carl enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren, Wade, Jeremy, Brandi, Dolena, Kyle, Autumn, Damian, Bailey. He was predeceased by his son, Wade Carl; brothers, Gordon, Ralph, Gary. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7-9 p.m., memorial service on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. , both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Glen Donnellan officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
