General Hospital Military Service: WW2 US Army Obituary: James Bernard McKeever of Garden City passed away February 4, in the Wayne County Hospital, following a brief illness. He was born April 2, 1906 in Clare, the son of George and Katherine McKeever and made his home in Clare for many years, going to the Detroit area some thirty years ago. He was Ward Supervisor of the Wayne County General Hospital and a member of St. Bernard's Church in Garden City. Surviving are his wife, the former Catherine Tilley, one brother, George of Inkster, two sisters, Mrs. Florence Kane of Clare, and Mrs. Mary Legg of Lockport, Illinois other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held from the St. Cecilia's Church in Clare Saturday morning, February 7, at 11 a.m. with Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating and burial in St. Cecilia's Cemetery.
