"Herb" was born in Waltham and was a Needham resident for over 50 years. After serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War Mr. Barlow worked as a Needham Police officer and then as a Special Police for many years at the Needham Cooperative Bank. He was known as an Avid Sportsman in both Hunting and Fishing. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Lyons) Barlow for 38 years and Brother In Law of Ernest Lyons and his wife Susan of Norfolk. He was also brother of the late Richard and Robert Barlow. Herb is survived by one niece, Jacki Lyons of Needham and one nephew Philip Lyons and his wife Lora of Norfolk. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday Sept. 8, 1:00 PM at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham. Burial at the Needham Cemetery.
