He was born on February 4, 1969, in Somerville, MA to Arthur and the late, Ann (McLaughlin) Ivey. For many years he was the maintenance director at Life Care Center of Billerica and Palm Center in Chelmsford. He was the beloved husband of Lisa (Moler) Ivey with whom he shared 29 wonderful years of marriage together. In his free time, Brian loved to spend time with his family and create memories through food. He was an avid New England Patriots fan. On Sundays, you could find him cooking something delicious and watching the game with his family. Whenever given the opportunity, Brian loved to go camping. He had many fond memories camping, especially in Vermont. Brian also had a great sense of humor and he could make anyone laugh with his quick wit, humor and sarcasm. He loved listening to music and dancing with anyone who wanted to. He had the most impressive moves on the dance floor. Brian absolutely adored working with the elderly, finding a great passion in that. Above all else, Brian loved spending time with his children. He loved teaching the kids new things and sharing the stories of his life with them. In addition to his wife Lisa, Brian is survived by his two children Kayleigh Ivey and her fiancé Chad Matte of Merrimack, and Christopher Ivey of Hudson, his three sisters Patrina Ivey of Sandown, Sharon Berard and her husband Gary of Londonderry, and Ashley Ivey of Nashua, his sister-in-law Karen Ivey of Webster, MA, and his beloved dog Buddy, in addition to many nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his brother Stephen Ivey. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Brian's life on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 12 until 2 pm at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
