Born in Grafton, he was a son of Winnie (Cochrane) Kinsman, Grafton and the late Seth E.D. Kinsman. He was employed with Berwick Bakeries Limited from 1952-87 as a driver and salesman. He was a member and elder of Trinity United Church, Woodville. He was a member of Nova Scotia Fruit Growers Association, Federation of Agriculture and Berwick Seniors Curling Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Audrey M. Sanford; son, Gary, at home; daughter, Mary (Mrs. Ritson Sawler), Cambridge, Kings County; sister, Alta (Mrs. W.L. Carey), Bridgewater; a grandson. He was predeceased by a son, James Dwight. The body has been cremated under the direction of H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Sunday in Wesley-Knox United Church, Woodville, Rev. Donald MacPherson officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, or any charity.
