He is survived by his wife, the former Darlene MacDonald; brothers, Howard "Hap" (Mary), Tom (Elsie), Ronnie (Barb), Carl (Nancy), Stephen, Carter, Joel (Emme); sons, John (Jennifer), Shane (Krista), Rodger (Beverly); grandchildren, Kayla, Alysha, Avery, Jordan, Ethan, Jayden, Johnny, Keith, Kyle, Bailey, Isabelle and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Nala and Braxton. He was predeceased by brothers, Roy and Rodger. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium, Oxford. A celebration of life will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7 at Royal Canadian Legion, Oxford. The family has requested that everyone attending wear a mask.
