Born in Berwick, he was the son of the late Leslie and Helen (Strong) Schofield. He is survived by his wife, Jean Keddy of 45 years; sons, Mark, Dartmouth, Scott (Lindsay), granddaughters, Keaton and Sydney, all of London Ontario; sister, Ruby Langille, Martin's River; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Paul and brother-in-law, Laurie Langille. He was a member of the Bridgewater United Church and Adherent of Westside United Church, Pentz. He was an elder and served on several committees. He was employed by the Bank of Nova Scotia, owner of Schofield Men's Wear, A & W Restaurant and a financial planner. He held offices in Jaycees, Kinsman Club, Kiwanis, Rotary, South Shore Shrine Club and Acacia Masonic Lodge #39. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 9th in Bridgewater United Church. Reverend Neil McEwen officiating. A Private Family Interment will be held. Family flowers only.
