He is survived by his wife Ruth (Stoddart); son Robert (Jackie); daughter Bonny (Geoff); son Michael (Sharon); grandchildren Thomas, Kyle, Kelly and Jake; sisters Doris and Linda (Lawrence). He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Laura (Loomer) and brother Avery. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, neighbour and friend. He was locally known as "The Maple Syrup Guy" for his years of perfecting his homemade maple syrup. He will be dearly missed by all. There will be no service at this time. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
