Born in Halifax, he was the son of Margaret (Buchanan) Matsell. But his heart and home were always in Wallbrook with the Keith family \endash Alec and Alice. Ralph graduated from Mack Business College and started a brief career in business as an office manager before transitioning to Canada Post, where he worked for 35 years. He had a broad range of interests, including baseball, golf, religion, poetry, music and travel. He is survived by his children, Lisa, Mark (Margot) and Rosemary (Kevin); grandchildren, Joshua, Alexander and Ivy; and his partner of 40 years, Theo MacFarlane. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville followed by a reception. Interment will take place in Gaspereau Cemetery, Gaspereau. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
