  • Obituary: Foster, Beverly Margaret - 67, Harmony, Kings Co., passed away Thursday, November 10, 2005, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Morden, she was a daughter of Esther (Porter) Sanford, Aylesford, and the late Cecil "Bud" Sanford. Beverly had worked as a PCW at Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville, from 1978-1988, and with Kings County Home Care from 1991-2000. She was a member of the Aylesford United Church. Beverly was totally unselfish, putting everyone else before herself. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Robert Gordon Foster; sons, Larry (Noreen) Goucher, Cambridge; Terry (Fernanda) Goucher, Kingston; Gerald (Brenda) Foster, LeDuc, Alta.; Glenn (Penny) Foster, Penobsquis, N.B.; Gordon (Nilda) Foster, Richmond, B.C.; daughters, Donna (Peter) Rafuse, Tremont; Kathleen (Wade) Alfred, North River; Laura Legere, Dartmouth; Janet Cowan, Mississauga, Ont.; 18 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brothers, Manson (Alice) Sanford, Moncton; Emmerson (Cheryl) Sanford, Canmore, Alta.; Don (Marie) Sanford, Somerset; Bud (Nancy) Sanford, Kentville; Duane (Chris) Sanford, Elgin, N.B.; Ervin (Karen) Sanford, Black Rock; sisters, Barb (Boyd) Meisner, Black Rock; Olivia (Jack) Young, Aylesford; Verna (Richard) Ward, Coldbrook; Carol (David) Rinzler, Riverview, N.B. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her first husband, Bert Goucher. Adhering to the family's wishes, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 13, in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St. (902 538-9900), Berwick, Pastor Tim Bigelow officiating. Burial in Aylesford United Cemetery with a reception to follow in the Aylesford United Church Hall. Donations in memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
