Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Dr. M. E. and Ruby (Card) Devine. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking Sunday dinners for the family. She was a member of Aylesford Union Church and the UCW. Kathleen is survived by her son, Gary (Diane), Bedford; daughter-in-law, Doris Nichols, Windsor; grandchildren, John (Kathleen), Toronto; Gregory (Kelly), Halifax; Jeffrey, Toronto; Natasha (Ron) Armstrong, Fall River; seven great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, W. Paul Nichols; son, David; brother, Phillip Devine. Special thanks are extended to the staff of Osprey 1 at Windsor Elms.
