Born on June 22, 1931 in Prince Rupert, BC, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Louise (Kirkesby) Budinich. She worked for CIBC Bank and B.C. Packers as a Bookkeeping Machine Operator. She also owned and operated Kingston and Berwick's Farm Markets. She was involved in sports, playing softball, as well as basketball, her team winning the Northern B.C. Championships in 1946, 1947 and 1948. She was a member of the Morristown Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, music, dancing and travelling with Leslie for 40 years to many faraway places. She is survived by her son, Christopher (Anna), Lake Paul; daughters, Tracy (Alan) Joudrey, Winnipeg; Wendy (Marty) Tupper, Kentville; Brenda (Steve) Sanford, Berwick and Leanne (Bob) Dobrota, Kentville; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, George Mattison, Jasper, AB; nephew, Greg Olafson and niece Carlyne Olafson, both of Prince Rupert, BC. She was predeceased by her husband, Leslie Hutchinson; sister, Janet Olafson; sisters-in-law, Doris MacArthur and Pauline Mattison; grandson, Jeremy Hutchinson (in infancy); great granddaughter, Ellie Robar (in infancy); nephew, Douglas Olafson. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. A private family graveside service will be held in Morristown Cemetery at a later date.
