Born in Truro, he was the son of Elizabeth "Betty" (MacKinnon) and the late Karl "Sonny" Langille. Rod was self-employed as a car dealer. Rod lived life to the fullest and he taught us all how to enjoy life and the meaning of love. He is survived by his wife, Eva (Roberts), Truro; children, Kristan, Dylan and Kyle, all at home; sister, Heather McNutt (Jeff McKay), Bible Hill; aunt, Bonnie MacKinnon, Granville Ferry; nieces, Amber and Tara. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Carl and Helena Langille; maternal grandparents, Roderick and Mildred MacKinnon. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, with Rev. Gordon MacLean officiating. Family flowers only.
